About the ADT Survival Project

Why I Built This Site
If you’re here, you’re probably dealing with the same thing I did: the exhaustion, the fog, the loss of strength, the emotional flatness, and the feeling that you’re not yourself anymore after ADT.
When I went through it, I couldn’t find clear, honest, practical guidance from someone who had actually lived it. Everything felt scattered, clinical, or sugar‑coated.
So I built the ADT Survival Project to be the resource I wish I had.
A place where men can get real answers, real strategies, and real hope — without the fluff.

Who I Am
My name is Dan, and I’m a hands‑on technician, investigator, and problem‑solver by nature. I’ve spent my life fixing things, troubleshooting systems, and figuring out how things work — from equipment and vehicles to environmental systems and medical imaging.
When ADT was prescribed to me, I approached it the same way:
methodically, honestly, and with a determination to understand what was happening to my body and how to rebuild.
This site is the result of that journey.

What You’ll Find Here
The ADT Survival Project focuses on three core area’s:

Fatigue & Energy
Why ADT wipes you out — and how to start getting your energy back.

Strength & Body
How to rebuild muscle, manage weight changes, and regain physical confidence.

Mind & Mood
How to deal with the fog, the motivation crash, and the emotional rollercoaster.
Everything here is practical, straightforward, and based on lived experience.

My Promise to You
I’m not here to sell you anything.
I’m not here to pretend recovery is easy.
I’m here to give you the truth, the tools, and the encouragement you need to move forward.
You’re not broken.
You’re not alone.
And you’re not done.
